X-Epil - Sugar Paste (250ml)

Why is it good?

How to use:

  • Clean and degrease (e.g., with powder) the area to be treated. Hair length should be at least 3-4 mm.
     
  • Warm up the paste:
    • In warm water at 85 °C (closed jar)
      • For removal with paper: 10-12 mins (full jar), 4-5 mins (half jar).
      • For removal by hand: 3-5 mins (full jar), 2-3 mins (half jar).
    • In a microwave at 800 Watts (open jar).
      • For removal with paper: 35 sec (full jar), 20 sec (half jar).
      • For removal by hand: 10 sec (full jar), 5-7 sec (half jar)

Make sure the paste is not too hot before use!

  • For removal with paper: apply a thin layer of the honey-like paste against the direction of hair growth using a spatula, press the paper strip on, then pull off the paper in one swift motion in the direction of hair growth.
  • For removal by hand: take an amount the size of 2 nuts. Spread the hand-warm paste evenly against the direction of hair growth using your fingers, and massage into the skin (the paste should not be too runny). Pull off the paste in a swift motion in the direction of hair growth (at a 45-degree angle).
  • To finish, wash the sticky area with lukewarm water. To soothe the skin, use X-Epil After Hair Removal Soothing Gel. To reduce the risk of ingrown hairs and inflammation, it's recommended to use X-Epil SOS Ingrown Hair Prevention Liquid.
