To fully turn off, both the thermometer and power button must be held down: the display will turn off.

Charging connection:
Charging the product is extremely simple thanks to the included USB cable.
The charging connector is located on top of the toy, under the DC label in a small perforated circle, which you need to carefully puncture with the end of the charger before first use.
