We all know from fairy tales that there's no greater force than love. Our history and literature also show many cases where attraction can indeed be fatal. In the latest edition of Black Stories, players can unravel famous literary works, romantic movies, and the harsh realities of love stories. Time to investigate!

Slightly morbid, sometimes funny tales about the most exciting human emotion: love! Uncover every tiny detail of these strange stories!

How does the investigation work?

1. The storyteller draws a card and reads the story on the back. The other players can't see this - just the title, illustration, and the one sentence on the front that gives just enough clue to start. Let the investigation begin!

2. The players aim to figure out the full story. To do this, they ask yes or no questions, to which the storyteller can answer yes or no (or, to help the team, can indicate if a question is irrelevant to the case. There are no right or wrong questions; sometimes the most unlikely guesses help you move forward! So, how's the investigation going?

3. If the investigators figure out the story, the storyteller rewards them by reading the text on the back of the card, complete with all its spine-chilling details. Congratulations, great job!
